Our center consoles are very susceptible to scratches

I was leaning forward to grab a phone cable out of the glove and somehow the zipper on my jacket left a nice scratch on the center console [mecry]

I knew this was bound to happen, been super careful with the sharp tips on the Micro USB cable too.

Is this made of real aluminum or is it plastic made to look like aluminum?

I'm kind of glad on my base Stinger its plastic.

Its a thin aluminum laminate.
