Chips in windshield

Is anyone else noticing a ton of little chips in their windshield when the sun is shining thru? I thought it was first on the indside of my window, after giving it a thorough cleaning out still looked dusty abd from the inside looked like there was dust or air bubbles in between the glass. When I checked from the outside and ran my finger nail over the glass I could feel all the tiny chips in the glass. Never had this problem with any previous car.

Yes I have noticed it on mine. I hear tiny little rocks fitting my windshield all the time. I even recently ended up with a shell too

Hi Vance16805, I notice on my windshield it seems to be very susceptible to road damage. Within 3 months I had to have a chip repaired. May be it's the type of glass Kia uses not sure. I would ask the dealer maybe there is a issue with windshield glass. Try using Rain X it MAY help with eliminating the very fine Nick's. Keep us posted. STEVO GT1
