Lower top speed with all season tires???

The Stinger GT with factory equipped 18" all season tires is limited to 140 mph. The 149 mph rating is for the Bridgestone tires. Kia would not allow the vehicle's speed governor to match exactly that of the tire rating. And no, if you purchase the 19" wheels and Michelin tires AFTER you buy...

    Kia Stinger Air Bags

I can back this up. KIA has never used Takata in any of their vehicles.

Anyone noticed the Kia Stinger cost much less in Canada than in the US?

Ok, I am no financial expert, but I don't think that is how it works. Just because a car is $51,894 in one country, doesn't mean that is the same as $41,259 in another when it comes to MSRPs. Just in the few minutes of this thread, the currency converter has changed the US and Canadian dollar...

Anyone noticed the Kia Stinger cost much less in Canada than in the US?

Ok guys, I am confused where your pricing numbers are coming from. I went to both respective websites and found the following: kia.com - US Stinger GT2 RWD - $50,100 MSRP / AWD - $52,300 kia.ca - Canada Stinger GT Limited AWD - $51,894 MSRP The GT2 and GT Limited seem to be the top trim...

Anyone noticed the Kia Stinger cost much less in Canada than in the US?

Europe may be different across country lines, but I know in the US, there is no warranty for imported vehicles, at least for KIA. Just the same, if you take a US KIA to Canada, it has to come back to the states for recall or warranty work.

    Hello From Tennessee

Hey guys! Not a Stinger owner, probably won't ever be able to afford one either, but this does have me interested in KIA. I spent a couple weeks in a 2018 Optima SX not long ago, my first time in a KIA, and could not believe the features the car had for the price! Surprisingly, the car was well...

    Stinger In Professional Motorsport?

How long before we see a race-trim Stinger on the track? I know IMSA and WEC GTE/GTLM/GTD wouldn't allow it due to having 4 doors, but could we see it in the SCCA Pirelli World Challenge or other series in the near future? Personally I would like to see a 2-door developed and entry into the...

Anyone noticed the Kia Stinger cost much less in Canada than in the US?

You could most certainly do that, but you would have no warranty in the US. If you needed a warranty repair or recall work completed, you would have to take the vehicle back to a Canadian dealer.

Brembo brakes option for the Kia Stinger

The Brembo brakes are standard on the GT, GT1, and GT2 trim levels, not available on Stinger or Premium.
