I think the 2020 models have the D-AWD available. Unless I read the new brochure wrong

We already get those on the GT in Australia (if we put the car in sports mode, the bolsters tighten up). I am sure other markets get it on some models too.

Remote features through the UVO app, e.g. lock/unlock, location, remote start, etc., in North America.

More HP & an sport+ mode, a dual clutch an faster shifting transmission, better suspension, like every mode you switch to it changes the dynamic's of the suspension. lighten up the car, maybe 3500 pounds & better gas millage, there are V8's out their that get better gas millage then the Stinger..

6-speed, more color options and 400hp would be nice.

I love my Stinger, but these details would have made it more perfect:

• Eliminate dark notch in headlight beam and raise up a few degrees so I can see more than 30 feet ahead.
• Remember the driving mode between restarts.
• Remember the setting for engine stop-start (ISG) between restarts.
• Remember setting for auto-hold between restarts.
• Close button on underside of hatch should be on driver side (left-USA) so I can reach it when backed into a space in a parking garage (close to wall).
• Stronger fan for cooled seats.
• UVO features that aren’t lobotomized (why didn’t USA get useful features like remote start via UVO like other countries?)
• Wireless apple car play, because I use my own magnetic windshield mount with wireless charging and never use a cord.
• Wifi/cellular in the car so UVO doesn’t need my phone plugged in to function. See previous about never using a cord.
• A nav system that doesn’t block operation while driving so my passenger can make adjustments.
• Lifetime map updates, because $175 every couple years is ridiculous. I’ll probably never update my maps because of this and keep using Google maps on my phone.
• Shorter following gap for adaptive cruise to prevent all the rush hour traffic from cutting me off.
• Manually shifting gears would be far more useful if there was a mode where it completely turned off automatic shifting unless actually redlining or lugging. When I'm shifting manually I don't want any automatic shifting, but it's a good compromise to have the auto-shifting if the RPM's are unsuitable for the current gear.
• Paddle shifters are cool, but they are inconvenient while steering through tight curves. It would be useful to give the drive selector handle a left/right toggle for manual shifting.
• Better visibility out the back window. Can’t tell if a car is behind me until they are on my bumper, and can’t see the light bar on police cars until they light it up and flood my car with the insanely bright lights.
• Would love to have access to video from all 5 built-in cameras to record my drives.

I'd love to see more factory/dealer performance options that's backed by a factory warranty.

I have a GT2 and in manual mode it will still shift gears up or down automatically if you don’t manually change gears. It simply does it too early for my taste. If I’m in manual mode I like to run the rpm’s high before shifting sometimes. I especially don’t want it shifting in the middle of a drift and screwing it up. Manual mode is really just a “suggestion” to the automatic transmission of what gear you’d like to be in, but it’s going to do what it wants.

I thought I had heard there was an update that can be done that offers full manual mode for the electronic shifter. Maybe it was just that the 2019s offer it

That would be great, but I haven’t seen it. I have a 2019, so it’s not something that comes with it. I think the special edition orange Sport model has it to allow for drifting. Maybe that’s what you heard about?

Apparently putting the car in sports mode and disabling ESC puts the gearbox in manual mode.
