Experience with Upgrading Navigation System in 2018 Kia Stinger"

Hello everyone,

I am considering upgrading the navigation system in my 2018 Kia Stinger. Currently, I have the standard 9-inch screen, but I am interested in whether it's possible to replace it with a larger model from 2022 or with an aftermarket solution.

Has anyone on this forum done such an upgrade? I am interested in:

1. Is it possible to install a larger screen without losing OEM functions?
2. Which aftermarket solution would you recommend?
3. How complex was the installation process?

Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I was looking into this for some. The most likely possible upgrade is to change screen & unit with all controls otherwise it seems that it will not work at all or maybe partially if you know how to modify the wiring so the touch function will work - but I don't really think is really worth it. I have tried on AliExpress and discussed with some sellers that were advertising Android headunits even for the Stinger, but when given the details & photos with the dashboard they backed up.
