Hey guys, just got this car last week so still learning her quirks and it’s CPO so I have powertrain warranty. Curious opinions on this issue.
When car is cold and I’m coasting at low speed, like to a stop sign or end of a parking row, the down shift to 1st is really abrupt. The first few times it happened it coincided with me braking and I thought they were just touchy/grabby brakes that I wasn’t used to yet. The way the downshift goes it definitely feels like I just stabbed the brakes but my foot isn’t even on the brake pedal. Cold car, low speed, coasting to a stop, bang it drops hard into 1st and jerks everyone in the car
When I downshift manually using paddles the shift is fine. Anyone ever heard of this?
