Swapped the mirror covers with some carbon fiber ones. Super easy to do and I love the look. Thanking about the hood vents, even though they wouldn't be functional, I think carbon fiber would look better than the shiny black stock ones. Has anyone swapped hood vents?

did you have any trouble with the installation? I bought covers and took them to my nearby body shop and he couldn't pop them apart without putting more force on the mirrors than he felt was safe. I've seen youtube video of how to do it,and it looked simple enough--did you worry that you might break the mirror with too much pressure?
