Anyone tried taking their AWD Stinger off-road?

Define "off road". I wouldn't include a gravel road as "off road". Or a road covered in snow/ice. It's still a graded road with a road surface. Hm, considering the potholes I've seen in some cities up in the northern midwest, I guess those are more "off road" than some gravel roads I've been on.

Fellow lurkers... why haven't you bought a Stinger yet?

I've not purchased one yet because they cost more than I have saved, and I hate debt. At some point the used Stingers will come down in price to equal what I have saved plus what I can sell my current car (2016 WRX) for. It's just a matter of time.

New guy here, doing research on a possible Stinger purchase

I hadn't considered that .. but a little digging doesn't show any used v8 AWD's (just new @ ~$60k). There are a few 3.3T + AWD which puts it right back near the price of a Stinger. To be honest, I want more sport than luxury but it has to have a generous rear seat, and not so much 'sport' that...

New guy here, doing research on a possible Stinger purchase

Surprisingly not many - and compared to the lease incentives (~$5k) and the cost of fly n buy, the prices aren't too far apart.

New guy here, doing research on a possible Stinger purchase

The thing with JD Powers ratings is that they either measure initial quality or dependability the first three years. Big whoop. The only new car I've owned which had any issues in the first three years of ownership was a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP (I didn't even own it 20k before I decided to...

    Valve Clearance Checking and Adjustment

I've done my share of valve clearance inspections and adjustments. Unless you've got something exotic like a Ducati or newer VFR the process is pretty straightforward, but having the space to work in is often the achilles heal. I haven't seen anything modern use shim-over-bucket in a long time...

New guy here, doing research on a possible Stinger purchase

New guy here, doing research on a possible Stinger purchase, so bear with me as I ask a bunch of obvious questions. The Stinger's generous back seat and AWD and hopefully durable (i.e. not German) build quality appeals to me. The price ... not so much. Which is why I'm also looking at a...
