I'm glad everything installed ok for you, periodically check the nut for the mounting bar & the two screws that hold the catch can to the mounting bar to make sure the y are still tight. If you drive on ruff roads a lot, sometimes those nuts and screws can come loose.

Be careful on the intake manifold, if you tighten it to much you can break the nipple off, its plastic. Listen close for that hiss noise & move the hoses around a little bit to be sure, around the intake manifold & the crank case nipple. Just asking, did you used Teflon tape on the nipples for...

Programming Remote Start with Smart Key FOB

My 2019 GT1 came with remote start and the salesman an the electronic guru that showed me how to work some of the functions on the dash an of course the electronic guru didn't know you could use the main fob to start the car. About two weeks later the service manager told me about it. So if your...

The electrical plug, just pull straight up on it. It slides off the bracket, you don't have to pull very hard, it just slides off.

oh ok, I take it they're still in the development stage, It's a great design for a cold intake if there was a way to keep the rain off them and if they were easy to take off to clean.

I don't think we have to worry about moisture to much here in Arizona, I haven't put a check valve on mine yet. I don't have a heavy foot so I don't worry about it that much. When you put a tune on the car to run more boost then I wood run a check valve and a second catch can. The bigger of the...

I used the same type of hose that came with the kit just a smaller size. I called David at K8 stinger store an talk to him about the ADD W1 V3 baffled catch can and he told me hes's had no one call up or email him to tell him the hoses don't fit. We had a long conversation about the ADD W1 an...

The nipple coming out of the crank case takes a 5/16 "inside" diameter hose, so the inlet hose that came in the kit is 3/8 inside diameter, so I had to buy a reducer to merry the two together. It wasn't that big of a deal , I'm just anal about my car on how it runs an performs. hope this helps you.

    Intake Thread

The only problem with this intake is if you get caught in a rain storm those filters are going to get soaked or better yet a dust storm and to take them off to clean them is a pain. https://www.ssr-performance.com/prod...-3-3tt~yr_2018

Which aftermarket intake brand are you running in your Stinger?

I totally agree with the chassis bushings, I had these installed on my 2015 Optima SX. Its one of the best mods anyone can do to their car, makes the car straight an true and handle, steer and respond nicely. Did you get those Ultra racing chassis braces from their website? your setup looks good!!

I'm writing this review on the ADD W1 V3 Baffled Oil Catch Can. These things are easy to install but, the hoses that come with the kit are to big. The hose that goes from the crank case to the catch can needs to be two size smaller and the hose that goes from the catch can to manifold needs to...

How many people warm up their Stinger before driving?

FYI for all the stinger owners out there. You should always let a turbo car warm up because the oil in your engine is cold an thick, so your engine has to pump it through a oil feed line to the turbo and if you have a heavy foot the oil has a hard time getting their. A good analogy would be try...

    Idle stop start question

Congrats on your car, One thing I've noticed about engine shut down button is when its on an you come to a stop, if you're not pushing the brake paddle hard enough the amber letter "A" will come on the dash and the engine will not shut off. I don't care for this feature because here in Arizona...

Official Ceramic Silver & Ghost Grey Kia Stinger Pictures Thread

Hi SeattleVlad, that is a nice area, I used to race Saint Helens roads on my ZX-7R back in the early to mid 90's. I grew up in the San Juan Islands, missing fresh fish and the Ocean.

    Arizona Roll Call

Theirs one other mod that has to be done too the car, I did this to my kia optima sx and that is Aluminum subframe bushings. Aluminum subframe bushings will eliminate slop and movement from the factory subframe, while maintaining suspension geometry for improved handling, tire wear and steering...

    Arizona Roll Call

No, the next add on will be a Injen Intake, Agency blow off valve, Magnaflow catback exhaust and a Ultimate Performance Front Mount Intercooler, and after that I will have Vivid Racing tune it. That's all the performance mods i'm doing. The rest of it will be handling, Ultra Racing makes a set...
