I don't believe you can bypass the solenoid, it has to be plugged in to work right. There was another guy on here that broke off the nipple where that nose slides onto and he had to buy another one. The PCV side yes, you do get blowby but the OCC side you get very little to none, its their for piece of mind.

Did you put the gaskets in the base exactly how the came out of the stock diverter base and how tight did you get the base? It took me 4 tries to align that banjo bolt, but im anal about things.

When you start running more boost into your engine you will get a little blowby down in your intake an turbo blades. You run a catch can on your PCV no matter what because you always get blowby an you want to keep your manifold clean. I run the ADD W1 V3 Catch Can that I got from k8 Stinger...
