    Those pesky HK headphones....

My KIA dealer didn't even know that KIA corporate was doing it. They had no idea what I was talking about...

    Those pesky HK headphones....

Never received a set.. and KIA pretty much ignored my question about it.. oh well..

    Catch Can Thread

And I might be wrong but I think the catch can installation is WAYYYY cheaper than fuel system cleanings... intake valve inspections and replacements etc..

    Catch Can Thread

Any high performance car really *should* have them. The only reason KIA doesn't put them in is that KIA sells to people who buy daily drivers.. Catch cans are something you have to check every 1000 miles or so and empty etc.. But yes.. keeping that crap from being pulled back into your engine...

Kia Stinger may not get a second generation

So.. *that* article references another article: https://www.whichcar.com.au/news/kia-stinger-facing-uncertain-future And THAT article has the quote from the source at KIA: What MurlinatoR said sums it up pretty well tho: It's fake news.. the article is trying to cast aspersions on the...

How do we get UVO updates now?

Now that Kia has changed their UVO website to the "KIA Owners Portal" the link to https://www.myuvo.com/software-update/index.shtml always redirects to the portal. And there are no options to search for UVO updates.. What do we do if we want to find out if there's a UVO update now?

How often do you see the coffee cup?

I've never seen that.. I have seen the "Please keep your hands on the wheel" warning a number of times.. even tho my hands *were* on the wheel each time. Apparently the active lane keeping assist was doing more work then it thought it should have.. :)

Two hours labor + Parts and the custom bracket.. about 350.. tax included. And honestly to not have to bother with it, totally worth it.

    Catch Can Thread

Bought my cans from the K8 Stinger Store and got them installed by my (non-dealer) mechanic. Looks great.. he even made a bracket for it. They look great.. looking forward to seeing the results..

    GT2 shift-by-wire problem?

I've had this exact same problem.. it's more exacerbated in hot weather. I'm guessing it's as you said a design flaw... after it's been running for about a minute with the A/C on the problem disappears for me.

    UVO, Bluetooth and CarPlay

This was probably one of the most succinct breakdowns that compared and contrasted the features and advantages and disadvantages I've ever read. Thank you. This made perfect sense as soon as you said it.. Bluetooth doesn't have the same Transfer rates that even USB 2.0 has. I think what's...

    UVO, Bluetooth and CarPlay

First - please note.. I LOVE my new car.. this car is amazing.. But I'm finding the UVO system even more vexxing in some ways than the "Premium Sound System" I had in my 2012 Optima SX. I'm hoping someone can help me with figuring out how to get UVO and CarPlay and bluetooth to all be...
