Is that just Atomic/Micro Blue or does it also apply to Deep Chroma Blue

Who has or plan to get their Stinger Ceramic coated?

Yes, I had it done by the dealer when I picked the car up 3 months ago. They used Dura-Seal, and it looks great, has a life time warranty, and definitely adds another layer of gloss to the finish. Looks good on my Deep Chroma Blue, not too sure about lighter colours, but highly recommended

Who's received their free Harman Kardon Soho headphones?

Don't undersell yourselves! Here in NZ we also get the extra goodies, such as surround view, phone charger etc. Miss out on heated steering wheel and auto stop/start, which doesn,t bother me. Based on current exchange rate my GT Sport is around the same $$ as a GT2 in the US. You may yet get lucky

    The Fuel Grade Poll

You could write a book thicker than the owners manual about the vagaries of fuel pricing ! As regards NZ I quote exactly from the owners manual : "Your new Kia is designed to use only unleaded fuel having an Octane Rating of RON (Research Octane Number) 91 /AKI (Anti Knock Index) 87 or higher...

Anyone refuse to drive their Stinger in the rain or snow?

We are a one car family, so don't have much option but to drive in the rain. Won't see any snow unless I go looking for it.[hihi]

    Who has named their car?

I call mine Blue Steel, obviously because of the color, but there is a more obscure connection, who can guess it ?

    The Fuel Grade Poll

Here in NZ the owners manual says to use 91 RON or higher, the other option here being 95 RON, which is 10 cents a litre more (sorry, can't give you Gallons $) I will use 91 for the time being (done 850 km's/ 530 miles so far) May try 95 later, or even alternate tank fills (would that give me 93 ?)

Official Deep Chroma Blue Kia Stinger Pictures Thread

As Henry Ford once said "You can have any color you like, as long as it is black". Sadly, that is the case with interiors here in NZ. I would have gone for another color after having black in my Optima. Never mind, at least I am getting the Deep Chroma Blue !

Official Deep Chroma Blue Kia Stinger Pictures Thread

Excellent close-ups showing the speckles of red in the DCB paint. They are what gives the car that almost purple tint from certain angles, particularly from the rear I feel. Still waiting for my DCB GT Sport (= GT2) to arrive in late February[:p]

Thanks for the input guys. I can see me using those 360's quite a bit !

    Hi from New Zealand

Because the Stingers rear window is so small and steeply raked, I wonder whether it is a good idea to tint it. I will defo get the sides done, maybe a lighter tint on the rear
