I've known since day 1 - that the Dynamic Bending Lights (DBL) do not operate when the high-beams are on.
And I've always thought the high-beams were simply additive to the low-beams, but there's more!
The low beams actually move up to a high-beam position (physically) when the high-beams are turned on.
Took a super slow motion video to prove it to myself that I was seeing something move (quickly) when turning on and off the high-beams, sharing here cause, someone might be interested.
The high-beams are fixed position, but the low beams move to a high beam position!
Essentially a useless video, but near the end, when I play the 960fps video at 0.5x speed, it's plain as day that the low beam moves up and the high beam adds to that.
Neat!
Enjoy
