When will you perform the first oil change?

Kia says it has to be done every 10.000 km (6213 miles).

My short review of the Stinger GT

I did play around with the drive modes but in my experience they don't do anything except change what you can read in the dash. The steering wheel got a bit harder to turn in "Sport" but that was basically it. As I said there is a little turbo lag but nothing like 20 years ago. Let me put it...

My short review of the Stinger GT

Turbo 4 does not ring a bell. I'm thinking about these cars: 911 Turbo (used 996) Mustang GT C350e Station Wagon Audi A5 Out of those I would most likely go with the C350e. I used to work for Mercedes so I'll get 21,5% on any new car so I would be in Stinger GT/Mustang GT territory with...

My short review of the Stinger GT

Thank you :) Road noise was not an issue even at 250+ km/h everything was relatively quiet for that speed. I could also not feel any rattles on the dash or on any other position, in fact you almost don't hear the engine when it is idle. Ride harshness was also not an issue. My daily, on 16"...

My short review of the Stinger GT

So, today I was able to test drive the Kia Stinger GT. I drove it about 160 km (100 miles) for about 2 hours. Here my short "review" that I could gather within 2 hours: Performance: Very very good however I did feel a bit of turbo lag. Not very bad but you can feel it. The transmission, if...

Big Decision Time.... Price Is In......

So is this the 3.3 GT @ full spec or the 2.0? If it is the 3.3 GT I think that is quite reasonable at around 44k ? That is also near to my limit of ~50k ?.

    Kia Tuning Discussions

Considering the 7 year warrenty in Germany I'd say a (Honeywell) Garrett or a Borg Warner.

Would you purchase a Stinger GT with a manual?

Nope. It's a Gran Turismo so it should be an auto.

What's your Kia Stinger suspension plan?

No I'm going for the 2 liter. As far as I know only the 3.3 will be available as GT and that will just cost too much in Germany. Road Tax alone will be about double that of the 2 liter with ~480 ?/year. I'm not to keen on the active suspension. I remember that crap from my old Mercedes with the...

    Kia Tuning Discussions

Found this on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbvNqv7Deow Sounds insane for a 2 Liter engine.

What's your Kia Stinger suspension plan?

I'm going to go with stock first and see how it handles. If it is anything like my i30 with it's MacPherson I will most likley stay stock. However if it does not handle that good I'll go with "real" coil-overs.

Welcome to the Kia Stinger Forum, please post an introduction

Hi Guys, new guy here :D At the Moment I'm driving a 2011 Hyundai i30 with a 90 Hp Diesel and it's time for something new not only because I've just had a check enginge light (P0234) but also because it's time for something with more power again. Looking forward to the 2.0 Stinger maybe with...
