    Stupid features

You are actually blind if you think that car looks better and will have as many (it will 100% not have more or better) features as the Stinger has. Compare the stinger to any other car you can get fully loaded at $52k USD. You'll find absolutely nothing. Why are you trolling this forum if you...

    Stupid features

I question your ability to properly own this car.

    Shifting into Manual Mode

...but I don't want to have to do that. In a lot of other cars, my 2017 440i for example, if I switch into Sport shift mode, then manually shift (either by paddle or gearshift) to be in "M" mode, it won't leave that until I switch it back into automatic myself. Come to a stop, sit in M1.

    Shifting into Manual Mode

Even in sport mode, if you go below 4MPH, pull the gear down to D again, or hold the + paddle shifter for more than 3 seconds, it'll put it back into automatic mode. There's truly no way to keep it in manual mode until you want it off manual mode in the shift-by-wire models.

    USB Music

Little more difficult nowadays now that What.CD is gone, but there are similar ways you can find information like that. :P If you want to actually buy your music, you can get FLAC rips from HDTracks.

    USB Music

I have my drive (64GB USB 2.0 sandisk) in exFAT, organized by Artist/Album/Song.FLAC and the device is fully searchable through the UVO system, and displays elapsed time, percentage bar, song total time, and album art on all of my music.

Which Kia Stinger trim will you purchase?

Thanks. I've had it for a little under a month now, no problems so far! Came from a 440i and I'm much happier.

Which Kia Stinger trim will you purchase?

Makes sense. I think most people would go for the GT2 if shown the GT1. (Remember us on here are not "most people") Smart Power liftgate, heads-up display, more adjustable front seats, ventilated seats, nappa leather, DLB headlights, Shift by wire, LSD. Lots of stuff you get for that extra...

    USB Music

Looks like they removed the ability to format drives larger than 32GB in Windows 10, so it was probably done by software running on 7 or some linux variant at the factory. I'd honestly try and reformat it NTFS or exFAT and recopy all of your music, it'd probably speed up load times.

    Engine Speed

The car drives as the mode you put it in. In sport, each gear has a wider RPM range to give you more responsiveness without the need for downshifting, so it makes 100% complete sense if won't upshift if you don't reach the right speed. The actual outcome is to use Sport when you're driving...

    USB Music

Can't be FAT32, FAT32 partition sizes are limited to 32GB. It's either NTFS or exFAT. Might be the amount of music you have then, well at least it works!

    USB Music

Nice! Though your system takes a bit longer to read USB than mine, what did you format it to, NTFS or exFAT? Also could be because it?s a 256GB and mines a 64GB

My Issues at 4000 miles.... :(

The trip counter resetting is by design. It's supposed to be a counter for your current trip, not "a" trip. The actual "trip" counter is the "accumulated info." Also FYI, the fuel economy meter resets with each gas tank fill-up. Your other issues sound really peculiar. I'd take it into a dealer...

Delicious Tuning - Kia Stinger Tuning and Dyno Charts

Yup, most people forget quoted HP is "BHP", "Brake Horsepower," the power available at the engine (counter-intuitive naming, I know). That power has to travel through the drivetrain, so you'll naturally have some dropoff at the wheels, "WHP" (Wheel Horsepower). As said, typical loss is around...

Kia Stinger Out The Door Price Thread

Yep, but that per diem can really stack up if you have a high principal. People putting only a couple thousand down on a GT2 will have a principal upwards of $45000, which at an average rate of 5.1%, is $6.28 per day, nearly $200 a month, so it could be a bit. Of course having no debt is the...

    Are you rich

I get that question, but my response is typically "just take out a loan" or "that's what credit cards are for."

Kia Stinger Out The Door Price Thread

You can use either one, all the factor does is give you an APR. It's easier math to use your APR as a percentage. So if your APR is 4.7%, on a principal of $12000, your per diem is around $1.50. Basically, each day you don't pay the principal off, your interest increases by $1.50, every month...

Kia Stinger Out The Door Price Thread

While you understand 100% what you're doing and aren't wrong, there's a little bit of terminology mix up and some things that are out of order (just so people don't get confused). When you're immediately paying off 35 months of the lease, you are paying interest, but it hasn't compounded. Your...

Who turns off the Auto Start/Stop feature when they first get in their Stinger?

Agree on the difference between that and BMW. Much smoother in the Stinger (also 3.3TT). What I also noticed is that it won't actually turn the motor off (even if the situation is right for it), if you don't press the brake more than half-way down or so. It's enough to keep the car from...

Kia Stinger Non-ADM Dealers a.k.a "Nice Kia Dealers List"

Figured I'd add in: Cobb County Kia Kennesaw, GA MSRP, but they threw in a bunch of extras (side door/bumper applique, cargo net, paint protection) for free, probably about $500 saved total + labor.
