Yep, I totally agree! I think there’s no doubt it has sold much better in North American than it has here in the UK. But, I love driving a rare car!

As a UK Stinger GTS (GT2 / Limited in the US / Canada) owner, I am one of the very few. I have only seen three or four others in the wild! But, that gives Stinger owners here a rarity factor. People are always asking me about the car or just staring! “What’s that... wow, it’s a Kia!!”...

Just go for the latest model you can afford. The later, the better in terms of the improvements that will have been made. As above, no car is perfect. A 7-year warranty (in the UK) helps. But, if you want a Stinger, do it, you will not be disappointed!

I totally get that. My brother lives just outside Toronto and uses the 401 several times a week. Brutal is the right word. He has a 2019 MB E-class and went with 4 cylinders and AWD. He loves it.

Hi consequential. If you are serious about changing cars, my 2019 has no issue with the hatch rattle and numerous upgrades on the previous UK 2017 and 2018 model years. Good luck with whatever you choose to do! Cheers, Dunc

If you use Eco, it will remain in Eco even when turned off and back on. In Smart, it will default to Comfort after being turned off and on. Smart does work well but, for me, Eco is my preferred option (it’ll still fly if you floor it!!) and I use Sport when I need to have some real fun.

Creaking doors can be fixed with silicone grease applied to the door frame rubbers. Try this stuff. .
