Do you agree...Stinger vs Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio

Alfa owners have long suffered for unreliable vehicles. It doesn't seem to have improved, sadly.

    GT2 shift-by-wire problem?

To go back to D after using paddle shifters, either wait for it to revert, or pull the + paddle for a few seconds.

Who would fly on a Boeing 737 MAX again?

Boeing used to insist on the pilot having ultimate control of the aircraft. Since they went away from that with planes like the MAX, they've had problems...

    I messed up...

Bummer on the accident, but it sounds like you came out of it OK - cars can be replaced, people not so much. Glad to hear you are OK.

    Another good review...

Kia owners are hardly unique in this. Goodness only knows how many Commodores I saw over the years with Chevy badges on them. And plenty of Japanese car owners change badging to reflect the JDM models of their cars. It's also very common for people to "up-badge" cars - making their cars look...

    Hyundai/Kia New engine (3.5T and 2.5T) information

The 3.5L engine has been under development for some time. It has some advantages over the 3.3L that they clearly believe warrant putting it into the new SUV. I suspect it will find it's way into the Stinger at some point as well (should the Stinger continue). I found this part particularly...

    Another good review...

I can completely understand people badging their cars exactly how Kia does in Korea (they don't use the Kia logo at all, with the "E" badge on the front, and the large Stinger script on the back), and I can also understand people choosing alternatives such as the "Vintage-K" logo to replace the...

Refreshes to the 2020 Kia Stinger?

There have been a few references to the future of the Stinger being under a bit of a cloud. Here's one: https://www.whichcar.com.au/news/kia-stinger-facing-uncertain-future There's lots of conjecture though (in both the earlier article I linked to, and this one), and very little hard detail...

    Dual Clutch Transmission

I suspect you've hit the nail on the head here - the torque output is the reason they didn't use a DCT.

    Intercooler Thread

Australia has only 7% of the US population, yet we're geographically ~80% as large. So that could account for a variation in welder availability. We probably have plenty of welders anyway, but many of them are not up to the standard JT expects. I saw some shocking welding on an artwork...

Eibach Pro-kit Spring Install - My Experience

I am really hoping that H&R springs (I'm going with them because they do a RWD-specific model) help to reduce the squat the car has when you accelerate from a stand-still - it can be quite disconcerting.

Smart cruise control, scary at times.

I occasionally get the collision warning coming up on bends when cars are parked on the shoulder and I'm in the next lane over, or when I am turning when there's a car parked right after the corner. The stop and go capability is amazing, but I'm VERY cautious with it.
