    I can also vouch for the rubber strip solution. I had tried metal washers but they created too much tension on the tailgate (it sat a little higher than before and noticeably "popped" open instead of just lifting). I didn't bother asking the dealership, given how simple and cheap the solution...

    Are the speed signs in the Heads up display stored in the nav?

    I've got speed signs on my HUD in the UK. It's "seen" by the camera at the front of the car, rather than any GPS data so will also show reduced speed limits for roadworks etc, provided the sign is in a recognised format (I don't think it reads electronic overhead gantry signs).
