    Well, I finally did it...

No. Haha, I like the option to change it and take it out completely if I want. What if you don't like the ECU flash you choose? Is it that much better? Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

    Well, I finally did it...

I dont really change modes on the RC but switch between comfort and sport on the car. I only run 92 or 93 octane fuel. I'm really happy with it, my only complaints are the wire routing (be careful to ensure wires and hot parts don't touch, seems obvious but...) and the fact that I feel like I...

    Well, I finally did it...

Great ideas! I've been running the racechip on sport mode for about 6000 miles on just gapped OEM plugs with zero issues. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

Higher octane simply doesn't combust under pressure (knock). More compression or boost, higher octane required... Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

So another update, hopefully I might help someone else that encounters this. The P0455 code came back two more times and I just cleared them while telling myself that I know I missed something somewhere when I did the plugs... Well I looked and looked with no luck and then today I finally saw...

Update: I cleared the code, and did a test drive. No problems. I installed the harness and the plug in the harness (no chip). No problems. I installed the chip and ran with it off. No problems. I ran econ mode then sport mode. No problems. So,no problems. I'll put 100 miles on it...

I'll find a diagnostic tool today and see what code was thrown. I find it hard to believe it's plugs after 100 miles on 93 octane in sport/sport mode Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

So I got a CEL on the way home tonight. I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary and I checked all of the connections when I got home but all looks fine. Any suggestions? Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

I literally regapped the stock spark plugs two days ago, received the product last night and installed it. My timing couldn't have been worse. Is there some explanation from Racechip engineers as to why new plugs are preferred over regapped OEM plugs? (My assumption can only be the heat...

    Black Chrome Pieces

What has everyone found to be the best method for keeping the black chrome plated plastic pieces on your cars shiny? When those parts are clean, they're beautiful but when they have streaks or water marks on them...not so much. I haven't tried much beyond just washing them and real mild cleaners...

    RaceChip GTS Black Initial Review

I just reduced the gaps in my OEM plugs tonight in anticipation of receiving the chip, it is a pain and it took me about 2 hours of time actually at the car. If you do it, remember where the short and long bolts go that look the same until you go to put them back!

    Science behind cracked plugs?

Cat hater, very good question. My understanding is that the various levels of heat dissapation designed in to the plugs dictates the heat level. Higher heat dissapation = colder plug design. It's my understanding that you would want plugs hot enough to burn up residue left on the tips of the...
