    Scorpion Edition Spoiler removal

Anyone know if the spoiler on the 2022 scorpion edition can be removed without replacing the trunk panel?

    2022 GT2 Engine stutter/lugging?

Hi guys, I have a new 2022 Stinger GT2 that I traded up from an ‘18 GT base. I have almost 700 miles on it and haven’t been driving it too hard in an attempt to follow the engine break-in recommendations (staying under 4K rpm). When driving last night in sport mode, cruising around 45-50 mph...

    Stinger GT braking vibration

Yeah, I had the stock all-season Bridgestone Potenzas. Terrible. I?m sure a dedicated summer tire would be way better but given that half the year in WI is winter, I decided to stick with one tire instead of continual swaps. I did that with my WRX and it got old.

    Stinger GT braking vibration

Hey. Sorry for not getting back to you guys. I did replace my tires with the Michelin Pilot Sport AS/3+ and feel like the road noise is definitely better though still suboptimal. Handling , however, is much improved. With the stock tires, I didn?t feel confident cornering with any gusto but...

Grinding sound with turning, 3.3 GT

Thanks for the comment. Yes, mine is AWD. Though the sound I?m hearing is when making very slow sharp turns, as in parking. So it seems less likely to be from AWD system, no?

Grinding sound with turning, 3.3 GT

I have a service appointment next week to look into it. I?ll keep you posted with what they find/say.

Grinding sound with turning, 3.3 GT

Yeah, I agree. As I was pulling into my driveway, I could replicate the sound at even a crawl. So there is no way this is just tire tread on pavement.

Grinding sound with turning, 3.3 GT

Thanks for the post. I did have mud guards applied but no other new suspension components. Does anyone else notice significant road/tire noise when making sharp turns to park?

Grinding sound with turning, 3.3 GT

I haven?t though I considered it. Is there a quick way to reset the ecu without having to disconnect the battery? The trunk location below the spare is annoying.

Grinding sound with turning, 3.3 GT

The saga continues with weird noises. Recently I noticed a progressive harsh/grinding sound when making tight turns at slow speeds. I have just over 1000 miles. I was hoping it was just the tire tread on a rough asphalt surface but I?ve continued to notice the sound on multiple pavement...

    Stinger GT braking vibration

Update: Dealership replaced the center muffler. Initially I thought there was some improvement but sound is still there just like before. I?ll be updating Kia customer service later.

    Stinger GT braking vibration

I still find the explanation puzzling, though as the sound is drawn out with slow release of the brake pedal. I asked about the brake calipers and they said everything looked good. Kia tech people say it?s caused by increased back pressure that occurs after highway driving that is then...

    Stinger GT braking vibration

UPdate: Dealership used the chassis-ears and after replicating the sound, they localized it to the exhaust. So now they are going to wait to hear back from Kia about what fix, if any is recommended.
