2020+ Rear Stinger Emblem - Holes?

Are there holes under the 2020+ rear stinger script emblem? It is really a pain to polish and keep inbetween the letters looking nice.

    Drop in Air Filter

Not looking to make any major performance mods to car. Anyone using AEM drop in filters in the stock airbox? On my previous car, I noticed slightly more power and much better sound with a AEM Dry filter in the stock air box (e90 335 BMW, N54 engine) .

That counts. I'm 20-30 minutes south of the border. Do most of my beer shopping on your side. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

    Are foam cannons worth it?

Any soap will foam decently in a good foam cannon. The special foam soaps will foam more than others. The Griots stuff is good, but pricey. For day to day washes I use Meguiars Hyperwash.

Share your Kia Stinger phone mounts

Not a Stinger, but this is how I mount all phones. Use the seat post as a base, fabricate a base out of aluminum and go up. Ram Mount fitting. Not the cheapest, but they are fully customizable, don't require modification to the car and will never fail.

What's a good pressure washer for the Stinger?

You can spend 60 to 1000 based on what you want. My little Ryobi has been running strong for 2 years. For cars, flow is more important than pressure. Ryobi uses all standard fittings, so it is easy to upgrade hoses, guns, etc. I have upgraded the hose (longer) and gun (mtm). Sent from my...

Chamois or Microfiber for drying your Stinger?

+1 for Air and a good microfiber drying towel. Squeegees are great for glass - not paint. Not cheap, but the Griot's microfiber towels at Advanced Auto are really nice. Get 2 drying towels and along with air, you've got the whole car covered.

So I went to a car wash

That is insane. Not doubting you, but really hard to imagine that a car wash can cause that damage. Their brushes must be damaged/worn out. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

Anyone consider using run flats to save weight?

I think having a spare is a huge bonus. My current car comes from the factory with run flats. The difference in ride quality between a regular tire and run flat is night and day. When I go on road trips I roll the dice that I don't get a flat, because I run regular tires and no spare. Sent...

    car wash

Thin is in for those products. If you are only using on your car, the bottles will last for years. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

    car wash

Twice a year wax - I'd go with Collinite 845. Better yet go with Jescar power lock sealant topped with 845. Twice a year with that combo and you should be covered. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

(NW Chi Suburbs) Shop Recommendation Needed

Ben is great. Maybe he'll start learning the Stinger. I told my guy, eFab Motorsports, to start reading up on the Stinger. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

(NW Chi Suburbs) Shop Recommendation Needed

Following for good indy shops in the NW Burbs. I'm in 60060. I've learned from BMW ownership learning some DIY and having a great indy shop is HUGE.
