Use the recommended. Engineers test to an environment of 120deg F since car is sold world wide. Y'all ain't THAT hot - it is the humidity ;) Thinner oil yields best fuel economy and performance. Unless you see oil pressure below spec, you will be fine.

If you are going to continue to mod and possibly race the car - JB4 hands down. If you just want a noticeable bump in performance and will stay satisfied with that - Race chip will be fine.

Yeah, most ignition noise was from spark plug wires - we have coil-on-plug, so no worries ;) No other radiated EMF that I am aware of from these cars...

A DCT actually is more expensive than a standard auto. Industry is moving away from DCT for high torque applications. I'm glad we are not DCT - one less worry! ;)

meh. Cartridge filter and bowl is same as an F-16 filter assembly, so it is nothing new to me... ;) But getting the bowl back on is wee bit more difficult than a simple spin-on filter. I find I have to smack the filter to seat it enough to get the bowl on. At least I don't have to safety-wire...
