    I have watched the video and still don't quite see how it was wired up, which is what I'm looking for, was the male connector cut off and simply connected the 2 to 1 and 1 to 1 of the different wires?

    Any chance you could take a picture of the actual wiring? You ran it through the existing loom for the electrical wiring of the hatch, up to where the 3rd brake light connected? Can you go either side right or left side, is one side better than the other (cable length?)
