When you say real close, do you mean rubbing or too close for comfort? I know someone on here was running 20x9 et37 with similar sized 255/35's without rubbing the strut. And do you have any issues with rubbing at full lock with et30's?

The widest tire/wheel combo(stock body) is STINGER and he is lowered and running 20x9 et37 and 20x10.5 et50 with 255/30s and 295/30s respectively. I don't think he has had rubbing issues but you will be fine with 20s as long as you pay attention to offsets.

To add to this the harbor freight ones are actually really good(especially for the price) and they have been tested against snapon torque wrenches and torque nearly identical(within 0.1 ft-lb, at least from memory may have been a tad higher). Just make sure to always unset(too tired to think of...

It would seem but I have seen that with my Ford Focus ST. No parts are available at all for the trans as Ford says to replace if any issue shows up(which is common nowadays), and since the trans is only available in that specific car, it was(still very hard now) nearly impossible to get even...

Yep just remember to measure the full width of the wheel not just use the 8in or 8.5in widths to get the offset because the backspacing includes part of the wheel that is not included in the 8/8.5in measurements(the outside lips add quite a bit to a wheel, about 1in total depending on wheel)...
