Details: Family oriented event.
1. Meet up points: DFW meet in Madisonville@9:30am- leave out 10am to meet everyone in Texas City @ 12:30pm
Austin/San Antonio- meet at Buccees in Katy,Tx 11am, leave @11:30am for Texas City.
Houston- meet at any of above
Leaving Texas City Buccees @1pm to cruise Galveston.
Cruise details- Take I-45 into Galveston, exit 61st st. Drive Seawall to East Beach for photo op. Leave East beach to Galveston/Bolivar ferry. After ferry, go to Ft. Travis Park ( 1 mile east of ferry on right). Park is free. Playground, covered bbq areas, RR- bring lawn games. No beach, but view of channel from area. Don't want to cook out? Will be leaving park at 5:30pm to drive to Stingaree restaurant at Crystal Beach. Need restaurant count by Nov 1.
Need a place to stay? We have a block of rooms (11) @ Holiday Inn Express on the Seawall in Galveston. You will need to mention The Texas Stinger Swarm and Maria Barrera ( fellow Stinger owner and travel agent) to get the rate $166.75 w/ tax.
