Does anyone have suggestions for a drop-in air filter for a 2019 GT? According to K&N, they haven't confirmed that the 2018 drop-in's fit on the 2019 Stingers.

Take some measurements of your 2019 filter and one of us will compare to our 2018.

Or, call the dealership's service desk

Nothing has changed for 2019. They're identical.

Thanks for the reply. Just called the dealership, it’s the same part number.

No spchlss28, the closed intake box from the factory completely closes off all of the sound.

So I email K&N to get a coupon code for their current promo and I get this reply.

“Thank you for contacting K&N. We do not have the K&N Replacement Air Filter for a 2019 Kia Stinger. We do not recommend installing a filter that we have not test fitted it for. Here is a link to sign up for product notification:”

Should I hold off? Or still go ahead and order the ones for the 2018 since nothing has changed?

Go ahead and get them. The engine is the same and nothing significantly changed on the Stinger, aside from some additional features that have nothing to do with the powertrain .

I'll have a pair lightly used for sale whenever I finally make up my mind what I'm doing for an intake. LOL

Some claim they can tell a difference. I made the change last winter in crap weather and can't say that anything changed. But I always replace OEM paper with K&N.
