Are you for or against piped-in engine sound?

Most people seem to hate it. Me personally, I usually have my music up pretty high so I rarely ever hear the engine anyway. It looks like Kia gives the Stinger the option to customize it; you can have any way but Off:

And then add the "optional" sports exhaust - I'll never hear Taylor Swift.....

An "OFF" option would be nice.

My 2014 Ford Focus ST has piped-in engine noise via a tuned pipe, not through the radio, but I could easily live without it.

But I realize that MANY car manufacturers these days are going this route, so I guess it's pointless to try to shovel sand against the tide.

I honestly don't mind it, we have a similar feature in my wife's S3 and it sounds great.

I would prefer a dual mode exhaust system.

Having the ability to minimize this sound is another brilliant move for Kia.

I don't mind the piped in sound at all, in fact I kind of like it. I have it set to enhanced and its saving me the price of an aftermarket exhaust.
