Does the Advanced Smart Cruise Control on the Stinger come to a complete stop?

I've tried searching on this subject but couldn't find a straight answer. I understand that its not meant to be an auto-pilot system but in the event of an emergency can it come to a complete stop?

Yes, it does. I was using it and was distracted for a second when the car in front of me slammed on brakes. It stopped in time.
