1st highway trip

On my GT1 Stinger?s 2nd highway trip after the break in period I averaged 28.2 mpg (in comfort mode averaging between 65 and 75 mph). Pleasantly surprised.

Great numbers.

Does anyone have real life MPG numbers for the 2.0T?

I?m surprise it?s just on par with the V6. I was hoping for slightly better numbers.

Well considering the weight of the car I'd say it makes perfect sense. As your are using a smaller engine with less power to move the same mass. Therefore requiring more energy from the smaller engine to achieve the same result.

My normal daily driving has very little freeway miles, and I tend to be in sport mode most the time and a little heavy footed (well ok, a lot heavy footed). I?ve been getting 17 to 18 mpg. However, I?ve taken a couple mostly all freeway long trips recently and dang, I got 28 mpg in comfort mode and 32 mpg in eco. Btw, what a great comfortable car on long trips.

Wow, I've never seen that kind of fuel economy on the road. At what speeds?

I'm around 70/30 hwy/city and I've been consistently getting just around 27mpg average. I cruise at 70mph on the way to work and sit in traffic for half the way back home. 40 mile commute.

I recently took the Stinger on its first family road trip and got over 27 going up the mountains and over 32 coming back down. Round trip total even with aggressively driving the mountain roads I got over 28 almost 29 at just around 700 miles driven. IMG_5572.jpg IMG_5600.jpg IMG_5602.jpg

Yup. I figured it would be terrible, and it is (GT2 AWD). I do mostly city driving and I average around 19MPG.

Ditto for me. Car is mostly in Eco mode and very little hooning around.
