20X9 +35 would be about the offset I would do to be flush for stock height but enough to clear the brakes. For your tires, 255/30 would actually be closest size to your overall rolling diameter but we have successfully ran 245/35/20. 255/35 may be a bit oversized and run into issues of rubbing on fender liners during turns and 255/40 would just be way to oversized.
Thanks for the info, any thoughts on a 245/40/20? Also thinking about going down to 245/40 or 45/19 on 19x8.5 +35

245/40/20 is too tall and will most likely run into rubbing just like the 255/40/20. 245/40/19 is doable.

I like the look of these matte black, 11-spoke Konig Zero-in luxury wheel. I am planning to order it for my white 2018 Stinger.

Hi there I have some Vertini RF1.3's coming in 20/9 and 20/10.5. I paired these with Extreme Contact 245/35/20 and 285/30/20 tires. This is for the base Stinger.

A few "newbie" questions please.

- By going with a bit "beefier look" on the tire size what difference does the look make if the car is stock?
- Are "off-sets" given to the installer or tire manufacturer, I don't understand off-sets.

I plan to keep this stock for warranty purposes or "as long as will power will allow :D."

Thanks in advance!

Looks like you went with wider tires and not necessarily beefier tires, that means the tires will be less flush with the wheel..not a big deal.

For offset it is explain on this post https://www.kiastinger.org/threads/677-Kia-Stinger-Wheel-Size-Bolt-Pattern-Offset-Tire-Information
  • Positive Offset wheels have their mounting face toward the front face of the wheel. Most front wheel drive vehicles have positive ET wheels.
  • Zero Offset wheels have their mounting face even with the center line of the wheel and are by definition ?ET 0".
  • Negative Offset wheels have their mounting face toward the rear of the wheel ? powerful rear-wheel drive cars often have wheels with negative offset.

Thank you johnny - I see your local to me that's cool. So I should go with 255/35 in the front & 275/30 in the rear for the more "tucked" look? Staggered is fine on the base model right? Let me know if you know of a good spot to get Eibach springs done, thank you.

Just to give you an idea this Stinger is running 20x8.5 245/35ZR20 front and 20x10 275/30ZR20 rear

Thanks I will call them. Interesting they went with 245's vs. 255's to pair with the 275's in the rear. Wouldn't 255's pair better?

Again throwing these on staggered on a base Stinger.

245/35/20 and 275/30/20 has a more equal rolling diameter where as the 255 is going to be bigger than the 275 rear.

No problem.. now if you want a much more closer rolling diameter..

235/35/20 @ 672.5mm and 275/30/20 @ 673mm

245/35/20 @ 679.5mm and 285/30/20 @ 679mm
