You guys see this?

Kia Stinger GT Coupe - 40 BHP POWER CHIP & FUEL SAVER

Fully adjustable performance chip with fuel saving option that works with all Kia Stinger engines.

This hi-tech mod will allow you to fully adjust the power output of your Kia engine without affecting reliability or comfort and then reduce it down to a point where it becomes the best fuel saver available today. Unlike other performance chips you do not have to open up the vehicles main electronic control unit or ECU to fit. You will notice the improvement in power instantly, no need to have expensive tuning work done.

 • Completely adjustable, just select what suits your driving style from the fuel saving 'ECO' setting right up to the '40 BHP' setting.
 • Can be dash mounted using the 2 meter cable option so that it is fully adjustable even while driving.
 • Works on all electronic fuel injected petrol, diesel, lpg, turbocharged and supercharged vehicles.
 • Very tough and robust device that will last for years.
 • Comes with detailed universal fitting instructions with photos that apply to every vehicle. NOTE: Instructions are in English only.
 • The device easily connects to just two of your vehicles MAF/MAP sensor wires using only pliers to compress the simple easy to use connectors.
BHP and TORQUE gain, manufactures info states this unit will help your vehicle gain 40 BHP and 50+nm of torque sometimes more depending on the setting you choose and the potential of your vehicle engine. The more power your vehicle produces the more it will gain from this unit. Works even better with other aftermarket tuning accessories such as K&N air filters and performance exhausts

How does it work? Here's how it works, Kia Stinger engines are made to operate within a wide range of environmental tolerances and to comply with various standards and emission laws allowing sale and use in different countries worldwide. Our device when turned up to full works the same way as a remap and other more expensive eprom chips from Superchips etc. by adjusting the timing curves and optimising your Kia's air/fuel ratio for performance or economy using the modern fuel quality available in your country. When the device is set to eco the timing curves and air fuel mixture are slightly adjusted like above but this time for economy, there is a slight reduction in bhp when this happens but better mpg. This is also the method when remapping costing hundreds of pounds but these are not easily reversible.

The device operates at very low voltages and never exceeds what your Kia Stinger engine can handle. It can also be removed at any time in minutes to revert to standard settings, unlike a remap.

Why so cheap? To keep costs down there is no retail packaging included, the device is supplied in the basic sealed bag with instructions, also we buy in very large quantities direct from the manufacturer which means more savings can be passed on to our customers.

Choosing this tuning chip for your Kia Stinger instead of an expensive ECU remap is not only much cheaper but is also a safer, more reliable and completely reversible way to achieve more power and better economy. All our devices are rigorously tested, extremely tough and made to last many years in the demanding environment of your vehicles engine bay, they can easily be transferred or removed in minutes unlike a remap which is permanent.

Found this on Youtube:

Sounds insane for a 2 Liter engine.

That Tuning Wizard sounds like those fake chips that used to be sold on ebay.

I highly doubt that you can get 40hp from a device that connects to the MAF/MAP sensor.

I remember reading in one of the early Stinger articles that the 2.0 is related to/a version of the turbo 4 from the Genesis coupe. If this is accurate, SFR and BTR will have a tune for that one in no time, since they both still offer them for the Gen coupe.

I still have my fingers crossed that it won't take either of them long to crack the 3.3 too...

Nothing better than popping the motor on a $40k car with a ?50 product lol.

Do you know what kind of power they were getting out of the 2.0 for just a tune?

With that version I want to say with just a tune they were unlocking 40+ peak HP easily. The dyno posted on BTR's site shows a gain of 51 HP, but doesn't mention if it was just a tune only. Either way, I recall people making big numbers off those tunes, so I can't wait to see what they do for the Stinger.

Thats really impressive to extract another 40-50hp out the 2.0 with just a tune.

That's the beauty of turbos. Heck my current car picked up ~60hp, ~100 lb/ft with just a tune. They say you're taking a chance with your warranty with a tune but they drive SO much better, it's worth the risk to me...

TurboTx, have you heard about any cooling issues with the Genesis extra 40-50hp? Especially in the hotter states?

I honestly don't know, sorry. I recall a good number of owners upgraded their intercoolers, but, I'm not sure if it was due to cooling issues or just in the interest of maximum cooling.

I'm hoping Kia gives both Stingers a decent intercooler. My current car has a lousy stock one, (so bad that you have to let the car cool off a little between acceleration runs) and it really struggles sometimes in this tx heat, even with a tune.

I agree. I didn't want to mod my Focus RS, but the tune is so easy and makes such a difference. Even if it messes with my warranty, it can make a car even that much more fun to drive.

Considering the 7 year warrenty in Germany I'd say a (Honeywell) Garrett or a Borg Warner.
