Hi All,

We have been hard at work by getting early access to the Kia Stinger at the SEMA Garage this past January and are close to releasing a tuning solution the Kia Stinger. We can not say much right now but we are working on the ability to switch between different tunes from our Delicious Tuning App that is supported on both Android or iPhone.

2018 Kia Stinger GT (AWD) in for product testing on 91 octane.

Stock HP 311 TQ 355
Boost Level 1 HP 338 TQ 385
Boost Level 2 HP 350 TQ 400
Boost Level 3 HP 365 TQ 420
Boost Level 4 HP 375 TQ 435

We can no officially state it is going to be called the Boost_Tuner System and we have added a quick concept of the app that allows the user to switch between different tunes from their smartphone.

More on the Boost_Tuner System coming soon.

Cheers,
William Knose

Is this a piggyback system? Or a direct flash for the ECU?

Welcome! Is Boost Level 2 a revision of Boost Level 1 OR are you selling multiple Boost versions?

Are you saying that the HP/torque numbers are that low at the wheels??? I wouldn't think that the drive line would cost that much.

I'm really surprised to see how low the stock numbers are.

Dyno Dynamics dynos are usually the lowest reading but most accurate dynos according to other communities. Still, the important part to see is really the % increase over stock.

It seems like your base numbers are low compared to spec?

The generally accepted rule of thumb is 15-20% loss through the driveline.

365 to 311 falls squarely into that rule with a loss of only 15%.

Guys, 311 at the wheels is very good actually. That equates to exactly 15% powertrain loss, where every reputable performance shop says is average. Figure 15-20% as the common percentages used for estimation. I remember seeing numbers from a Dynojet dyno on this forum of a RWD 3.3TT and it was at 351 whp and "supposedly" stock. Depending on weather conditions, DA, altitude and so on, it all comes down to what dyno was used and weather conditions. This may be from a Mustang dyno which reads a bit lower than Dynojets.

Took the words right out of my....fingers?....lol

The stinger was dynoed on a Dyno dynamics, more commonly known as the "heart breaker" dyno. It tends to read about 12% lower then a Dynojet.

This all just underscores the need for competent dyno comparisons of mods - against stock and against one another - on the same dyno with very similar conditions. It will take some time.
