Lets see where everyone is at when it comes to being happy with the amount of horsepower on their Kia Stinger.

400 to the wheels would make me smile. But it's more about the delivery and how it's tuned to throttle input to me. The difference taking off from a stop with this car when it's in Eco or Comfort vs. Sport is rather jarring. And some of us have to lug family around from time to time besides ourselves!

Sure it shoves you into the seat when you punch it, and sure it hits 100 in under 11 secs, but I want more! I think i would be happy with 4-450.

I'm hoping to get it to 450.

When the Stinger first came out I was hoping for 400hp but I think the 365hp it comes with is acceptable...for now. The car has great performance for 365hp. I would like to see 425hp eventually and if I was to modify the engine, I'd bring it up to about 425hp and then leave it alone.

400-450 will make me happy, if it doesn't affect reliability too much. Then again once you get used to it you will want more and more. [biggrin]

450 rwhp would be excellent. Once they work out the tuning kinks.

300/300 from my 2.0 would be nice, assuming the same (or better)low rpm onset of torque--that flat torque curve really gives the Stinger the midrange punch it's starting to be known for.

450-475 max. I wouldn't want to push alot of the internal parts where it goes from changing transmission parts etc. I would just like to make about 100 more HP and keep everything else stock as long as the Stinger GT stays relatively balanced

I always find these threads interesting. A peak horsepower number really doesn?t mean much. I?d rather have car with 450 ft lbs of torque from 1500 to 4500 rpm and 450 hp than a car that makes 500 peak hp at high rpm.

Honestly, it feels like most cars that have 400 at the wheels.
